At the heart of the works are the hexagrams of the I Ching – ancient Chinese structures transformed into abstract imagery and reborn through digital algorithms. Their symbolic power unfolds in painterly surfaces reminiscent of classic oil painting techniques, yet born of the computer.
Miles Mac Cormic paints with code, distorts with digital tools, and creates textures in which tradition and innovation intersect. What emerges is neither purely digital nor purely analog – but a bridge, a meditative space between chance and order, calculation and intuition.
